MY LJ is Semi-Friends Only, which means that all vid, fic and icon posts will be public, while anything more personal will be f-locked. I've also recently started f-locking things like random picspams so that they won't show up on the flist of people who have friended me just for my fandom posts. ;) *is all about the politeness, you understand* ;)

I always love making new friends but if I don't recognize your username, I don't automatically friend back. If you'd like to be friended back, (and thus get in on those crazy random picspams, my chatty fangirly posts and those sorts of things ;) ) just leave me a comment either on this post or on one of my other public posts and let me know how we know each other. Otherwise, I'll assume you're not friending me to chat but just to keep up with my vid/fic/icon/whatever posts. ;)
